Part 1: Portraits
I chose to do portraits of my grandparents because they mean the world to me and I wanted to incorporate more emotion into my work. I only have a certain amount of photos of both my grandparents, because I lost the majority of photos in the 2013 flood. Unfornutaly I have two grandparents alive and they have been having a difficult time, so I wanted to create an artwork for them to cheer them up. Some of the photos of Nanny and Papa, my other grandparents, are from a calendar my aunt made in honour of them, as they both have passed away. I wanted to create artwork for my Nanny and Papa to honour and to cherish them.

Part 2: Anything other than a portrait
I would do the same amount of drawings as portraits. For this archive, I have to create drawings that are not portraits, so I chose to do flowers, record player, skull, mountains or any other landscape, trees, and fruit. I was also thinking of creating an archive of architectural buildings or the still life of a teapot, teacups, plates, and spoons. Since both grandparents are from Saskatchewan, I would connect some pieces of Saskatchewan to my grandparents.
